Product installation

Installation of this product would be rated a 2 out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult. It is recommended prior to installing any automotive electronics that the negative battery terminal be disconnected.

Vehicles equipped with 5-inch UConnect 5.0 Radio (RA2 Radio Option)

Remove dash bezel held in place with retaining clips only
Remove and replace the factory radio
Remove and replace the USB media hub located within the armrest
Reinstall the the dash bezel
Turn the vehicle to the ON position and insert the included OBD Genie C-EPT programmer into the OBD port located beneath the steering column. When the programmer illuminates green the programming is complete and the programmer can be removed and stowed away.

Vehicles equipped with 8.4-inch Uconnect 3C Radio (RA3 or RA4 Radio Option)

Remove dash bezel held in place with retaining clips only
Remove and replace the factory radio (the maroon and/or pink connectors will no longer be utilized)
Remove and replace the USB media hub located within the armrest
Reinstall the the dash bezel
Turn the vehicle to the ON position and insert the included OBD Genie C-EPT programmer into the OBD port located beneath the steering column. When the programmer illuminates green the programming is complete and the programmer can be removed and stowed away.

Attention: Please allow up to 48 hours to acclimate to the vehicle fully. Some features may not be available at first. Leaving the vehicle turned off speeds this process!
If your Challenger is a 2015 model and currently equipped with heated seats, ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, and/or sport mode, you will need to purchase a new Body Control Module to maintain the ability to manually control these features. Once you have the module, it needs to be installed, and a PROXI Alignment must be performed at a local dealership. CLICK HERE, for specifics about this solution.
