Product installation

Simply remove and replace your truck's side-view mirrors. Remove and replace the right front door module, the left front door module, and the left front door switch. Once the hardware installation is complete temporarily install the included bypass device so you can run the included OBD Genie C-PFM programmer by plugging it into the truck's OBDII port under the steering column. Once the green light appears the programming is complete and the bypass device can be removed!

Q: Will the driver-side auto-dimming mirror work with my truck?
A: Yes. The driver-side auto-dimming mirror will function as long as your truck is equipped with a factory-installed interior auto-dimming rearview mirror.

Q: Does Ram offer passenger-side auto-dimming mirrors?
A: No. Ram does not offer passenger-side auto-dimming mirrors.

Q: Can I receive my order in multiple shipments?
A: Yes. Depending on inventory availability, your order may ship in two or three separate packages.

Q: Does this upgrade support 360 Surround Camera functionality?
A: No. The side mirrors do not currently support 360 Surround Camera integration.

Q: Is this mirror upgrade compatible with manual window vehicles?
A: No. This upgrade is only compatible with vehicles equipped with power windows and power door locks. Vehicles with manual roll-up windows are not supported.

Q: How do I reset the power window auto-down feature after installation?
A: To reprogram the auto-down function, hold the driver or passenger window switch in the down position for approximately 10 seconds.

Q: How can I tell if my vehicle has Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM)?
A: Check your factory side mirrors for a small triangle indicator. If present, your vehicle is equipped with Blind Spot Monitoring.
