2022 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer Usher in New Era of Vehicle Ownership

Jeep’s new Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer bring a new level of service and what could be the future of automobile ownership.

During Jeep’s reveal of their 2022 Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer vehicles, one thing became glaringly obvious—this was designed to be a luxury vehicle.

From the authentic wood interior and premium leather to the ornate grill design, Jeep’s rebirth of the legendary Woody evolved into more than just a redesigned vehicle.

2022 Wagoneers Offers an Opulent But Practical Experience

While the Wagoneers come with the height of luxury, they offer luxury that will be practical for the owner.

Standard third-row seating and the largest storage area in its class, coupled with a 10,000-pound towing capacity provide a usefulness that vehicle designers knew would be attractive to the right consumers.

The vehicles feature available Quadra-Lift suspension, providing up to 10 inches of lift and ability to ford in water upt to 2 feet in depth.

All practical features for a consumer base that has sought more remote secluded outdoor-type activities in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Certain elements provide key signals that are similar to the 2021 Ford F-150 design. The way people use their vehicles determined how the vehicle should be designed.

Jeep included a 10.25-inch front passenger-side touchscreen, that allows the passenger to provide support to the driver; i.e. entering new map locations while driving or getting vehicle information.

At the same time, the passenger-side touchscreen can be used to access Amazon FireTV and provide entertainment for the passenger while driving.

2022 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer Come With Promise of Total Ownership Experience

With a starting price of $57,995 for the Wagoneer and $86,995 for Grand Wagoneer, Jeep decided that luxury buyers would require a white-glove experience from purchase to end-of-ownership.

Jeep has made 10 promises to potential 2022 Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer owners. In order to even sell the new Wagoneers, dealerships must earn a J.D. Power “Customer First” award for excellence.

In order to be the sales or service person to assist customers, individuals will be required to take 90 hours of training and pass multiple certification exams.

Other promises include cleaning the interior and exterior of the vehicle every time it’s brought back to the service department. Jeep’s promises go as far as to guarantee free Wi-Fi and phone charging stations, as well as high-quality beverages and snacks.

It appears beyond just delivering a luxury SUV, Jeep intends to provide a complete car ownership experience.

The automobile manufacturing industry has seen this trend grow since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Vehicles have become places of safe harbor in which people can exist and function outside of the home.

The question becomes, what happens to the majority of vehicle owners who don’t spend upwards of $100k on their next Jeep vehicle.
